That RP6 is is the best looking Rega I have ever clapped eyes on. And then there are all the glass bottles! If is sounds as good as it looks ...

Thanks very much and it does.
That's my opinion anyway. I'm sure there's still room for improvement but I'm more than happy at the moment.
It must sound reasonably good though, my son is a sound engineer and is very critical but when I stuck on "Coming Back to Life" from the Division Bell reissue was very pleased to see his jaw drop. Then during "Time" he turned and said "I can tell which guitars were used in the background now."

Needless to say I was chuffed.

Hi Barry,
The only part of the deck that's Rega is the plinth, which I bought separately. Everything added to it was aftermarket parts, but that's what I wanted to do.

Many might call me daft but I've enjoyed the journey and the end result.

Loving the RP6 there... I'm partial to bit of Rega myself.

Is that a tube phono stage you're using there? Tell me some more about it... Presume you preferred it over one of Rega's offerings?

Hi Richard,

The phono stage is a Little Bear. They're made in China and sold on that auction site.
I have very fond memories of my dad's radiogram which was valve based and wanted to try a valve phono pre and this was fairly cheap.

I was completely blown away by the quality of sound that I got from it and other than replacing the stock valves I've been more than happy with it.
