Blu tak

Is it a good idea to put small balls of blu tak on top of speaker stands to hold speakers in place ?

I haven't tried it yet and may as my Isobariks weigh a lot.
I do have a load of Posta tack though

Spiked seems most common. Blue tack and wobbly supports have a small following that may grow

I've been doing it for years and nothing bad has happened yet.

Can leave marks but it sure does stop them slide. I prefer using Sorbothane...the slightly sticky type

Blu tak works very well. I had trouble parting my Pro Ac 1SCs from their filled 4 pillar Target stands - they definitely weren't going to get knocked off the stands by my young 'un!

Staining? Marking? Yes, a bit on the bottom of the speaker where it can't be seen.
