I know quite a good number of serious vinyl users. But I don't personally know any who really want to mess around with different Eq curves.

Then there's the issue of digitising your analogue source. I've yet to hear a digital phono stage that does a truly convincing job, ie better than the best conventional stages. Maybe this will finally be the one.

Unless you are a committed collector of very early (pre RIAA) vinyl (and that's a very small number of people) I can't see why you would want a ton of different Eq curves.

Hmm... They've not encoded dynamic resizing on their webpage though - very cutting edge...

Since so many pickup cartridges, especially older ones, offer such a downtilted response it can make vinyl sound dull and bland, having a method of equalising them in the RIAA circuit could be a good thing I think. More modern designs from the far east have an hf peak instead, which again could be tamed perhaps?

Just a thought...

Guy Hi, just saw this it is completely analogue, no digitising !
