Back up for sale.

Original sale thread here: http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?31739-FS-Edingdale-Speakers

I really have to raise some funds and clear some space!

Edingdale speakers in American White Oak.

Colin Topps made these for me in January 2012. They have been used for probably six months only due to moving house.

Perfect condition. I have just replaced two of the drivers, with matching stock from Colin, as a 'little person' had damaged the dust caps. They also come with Colins updated inductors for the crossover (although I have not fitted them as I was happy with the originals). These really are as good as everyone says. Just ask any of the existing owners! Very easy load for low watt valves but equally happy with big solid state.

Plenty of reviews on the forums

I'd really like these to sell quickly this time, so I'm reducing the price to £1000 firm

Can be auditioned any time here in Southsea. Collection only or would be able to deliver / meet within a reasonable distance of Postcode PO4

These speakers are a little but special, phenomenal sound quality.
Bass down to 35Hz, adjustable ribbon Tweeter and 94dB Efficient.
Have a set myself.

You won't be able to PM a member until you have made five posts Paul, this is to discourage people from just swooping in to buy stuff and then disappearing into the ether never to be heard from again ;)

Free bump for the OP.
I've heard the Edingdales many a time - Colin (Toppsy) lives just a short drive down the road from me.
They are a phenomenal sounding speaker, and present a very benign load for an amplifier.

300B SE amps have a reputation for sounding a bit "pipe and slippers", but with these speakers hanging off the back end nothing is further from the truth.
They're fire breathing, "tell it like it is" transducers, and they get down and boogie with the best of them.
At just £1000 the speakers on offer here are beyond a bargain.

I'd have 'em myself if my finances were more robust :o
