I'm looking for speakers to be positioned close to the back wall on a 4 X 4m room.
source is a squeezebox touch
I have tried many speakers:
Rega RS3 - too much bass for my room
Royd Eden - fantastic speakers. Very clear and informative. Changed the way that I used to listen to music. However for me they were lacking in the bass department.
Royd Minstrel - not for me
Rega Ela - they were nice. I regret selling them
Usher S520 - I like them but need to be at least 50 cm away from the back wall. Any closer and the bass becomes to much for me. Also not as clear as the Royds
At the moment I'm using Royd Sevens and although not the last word in refinement they are fun.
They also sound good 10 cm away from the back wall.
I know that a lot will recommend the Linn Kan but I'm really not interested in those speakers.
also I have no intention to change the Nait2 as I quite like it.
I also like to play around with an Amptastic mini 1.
So I'm looking for some speakers that could sit close to the back wall. What do you recommend me?
