Regrettable sale of possibly the best amps I've ever owned, Albarry M608 monoblocs in fantastic condition and just 2 years old!

60 muscular watts per channel; high current reserves so drive just about any load including difficult speaker loads yet retain delicacy and finesse with more sensitive speakers. Stunning sounding amplifiers.

£1250 FIRM. No silly offers please. These retail at £2995 the pair, so are up for grabs at a genuine bargain price.

Any audition welcome.

What size are the transformers? 500va?

They're pretty big Shane. I think they might be 525va as the label on one states "TT1011 525B". Whatever the exact spec, they're way more than you'd normally find in a 60wpc amp. The caps are pretty huge too!

My personal audio interests are being put to one side for now as I have business development interests I'd like to pursue. Simple as that really. These are easily the best I've heard or owned and I know that I can come back to them in due course. One of the beauties of this hobby I guess.

I knew you liked them when you heard what they did with the Rhapsodys Al ;)

I've probably listed them too low, but it saves the haggling. They shouldn't hang around long at this price. Forgot to add that I will be able to courier if the buyer can't pick them up. Courier costs extra...£30 for packaging and courier to anywhere in the UK.

Good point. Yes...bearing in mind what these are fetching (average seems to be closer to £1400 for a well used pair, never mind a minty fresh pair like this), it IS a firm price.

Thanks Brian. I'm expanding the loudspeaker refurbishment side of the business so have considerable investment in stock and tooling to make. Its only fair to my customers to expect reasonable turn around on jobs and for every detail to be professionally addressed to high standards as a matter of course.

Well as you know I'm an ex customer of yours regarding my speaker crossover upgrade and I was exceptionally pleased with the before and after service . The upgrade to my speakers was one of the best upgrades I ever made to my system . I can happily recommend you to anyone who is thinking of going down this road . In fact I have recently upgraded my speakers ( I'll be keeping the old ones BTW ) and will be in touch with you in the near future regarding another crossover upgrade Paul .

I think Albarry should do different colour face plates - or do they?. And no I am not going to say blue would sound better:D

...the new owner did indeed get to hear the Rhapsodys and much preferred them to the bench-mark Verity Audio floor standers I have here (circa £8,450 per pair)...so much so that he may want to take the demo set of Rhapsodys for a home trial. A man of exquisite taste!
