:lolsign: I have been banned from this site for being a spy for Marco.
Bet its the first Marco has heard about it! Dont think I am going to miss the monthly visit I made there as it had very little to do with hi-fi.
I have never been banned before, I feel quite Bonnie and Clyde-ish.:guns:

Sounds a bit like a scene from a 'Carry On' film to me, particularly if they would ban Marco. He should go in his 'man clothes' (if he has got any), then they wouldn't recognise him. ;)
Cheers,

Marco

LOL. That place gives vermin-ridden public toilets a bad name. I'm surprised at your interest there, Jerry! What exactly happened?

Spy? I'm not remotely interested in what happens in that hole!!

Marco.

Marco

As you can see from what happened to Jerry, the 'Administrator' is a little bit paranoid!! :eyebrows:

Marco.

The Vinyl Adventure

.... what is there to be paranoid about?

I was invited to join, but they must have changed their mind (no confirmatory email). Probably saw the dross I reel out on here.

The guy's got no life other than his 'forum' (I use that word very loosely), and trust me, he'll lose that at some point, too - sooner rather than later ;)

Marco.

So I'm in good company then. I manage to get banned within minutes of registering without posting anything, then allowed in and next time I tried to log in banned again:confused:.
Crazy place for crazy peeps, methinks:mental:.

Well, invited to join and as it was new I gave it a while to settle down. Stopped visiting about six months ago other than a quick shufty once in a while. The humour is the most infantile I have ever come across and very very boring.
Can you tell the story Marco about AOS and what they did or is that a no-no because of litigation?

Steve Toy

We could prepare a template pm for anyone who asks for it.

this is all far to intriging for me.. call me nosey but what is all this about

Covenant

Sorry Hamish I dont know enough to tell the tale and wouldn't mention what I know unless the mods said it was ok. Sufficient to say it involves a time when all AOS data was wiped maliciously. They will tell the tale in their own time I think

Guys....everyone.

I think that this thread is in danger of opening up all sorts of crap. I for one find the wiping of AoS to painful to go into again. So please lets just leave it, and those who did it and no doubt reveled in it at the time, bereft of any current or future publicity for what they did. No doubt they look in on what is said here and frankly I think nothing further should be said about it. Wounds should be allowed to heal and not be scratched at.....constantly.

So please once again no more talk, discussion about Firkham Hall and those who are members of/or run it. Silence should be their reward.

That would be my personal preference, but its not my decision alone.

this is evidently less funny and more serious than i thought it may have been... i apologise for butting my big nose in

Steve Toy

Don't worry Hamish, this is not that serious and slightly funny actually. When admin of Firkham Hall got his 15 year-old son to hack our site we lost about a week after the last database back-up. Apart from that it's just forum politics and long whisky-fuelled Swedish nights playing tricks on his mind back in February.

His Mr Angry impression (same ranting Cockney accent) left on Marco's voicemail recently was utter hilarity.

The Vinyl Adventure

certainly all sounds rather daft!
