Nice. Lovely scenery. What camera were you using Grant?

They were taken about 9 years ago according to the logs, and I believe it was a Kodak with a big zoom.....think I gave it to "the boy" ...it was quite good considering it was 2005.
It is a lovely area and ust a couple of miles away, all up hill though. Cairnpapple is an important site, and Beecraigs a lovely park. If I remember right it was quite cold that day.

Cold days can be good for photography. The sun is lower in the sky in winter and gives more interesting light and shadow.

I have been looking for those photos for several years along with others, and came across them tonight is an odd place lol. so uploaded them to the shack. thought I'd share a couple. Did a lot of photography in the old days...sold all bar one of my old cameras now though. Kept it as a memento... a Minolta 600 classic; probably the best camera they made. even got the wireless flashes that go with it I think.

I hope you don't mind Grant but I have been playing with your woodland pool pic as I really like it :)

Could that be a 'flying saucer’ there in the middle...? ;)

Marco.

Looks a bit like an I.R. shot. I picked up a couple of old digital cameras that lack infra red filtering just to take that kind of picture.

I did note the blemish. You can bet your bottom dollar that some ufo nut has picked this up and is now touting it around as a genuine sighting...

Sure I had 2 cameras with me that day and that one looks like its come from a film camera. There is no camera info so that'll be the reason

Edit.. If you zoom in to it there is a dark mark below and right that looks like a helicopter

There's less dust in the atmosphere too, which helps.
