I've sadly decided to part with my vintage Sony TA-F6B.
It's in fantastic condition and works perfectly (Including both VU meters).
I'm looking for sensible offers or I would consider a swop with a balance of cash in my favour.
I would prefer collection of this amp due to it's age and I would imagine postage costs will be horrendous because it is extremely heavy.

Beautiful amps these, had one and the matching tuner both sold now, I did see a full system (amp, tuner and cassette player) on e-bay a couple of years ago, I think the cassette player is really rare.

Yep !! That stack is vintagelicious !! The fact this amp is part of it and with the Sony PS 8750 tt as well says a lot about its pedigree. 2 x 100 wpc says this amp is no slouch either !!

Believe the cassette deck was like the betamax and is a bit of a collector's item

The tuner is legendary Grant but the next one up in the range, the ST-A7B is even more rare but doesn't have VU meters, spotted one for sale a couple of years ago at about £1600

Sony have made some cracking gear, a lot of it now fairly rare and sought after

It is a lovely looking stack but the turntable is not a PS-8750. Not sure what it is though, maybe a PS-X60?

Here (http://www.thevintageknob.org/sony-PS-8750.html)is the PS-8750.

Hi Paul, Ya right. Havin looked again and not quickly this time, it's defo not the 8750. I do actually know the 8750 as it's a deck i've admired for years.
