One pair of very nice early seventies Fane B122/14 twelve inch bass drive units 15 ohm. Low resonance, high sensitivity 22 watt units ideal for use with valve amps. In very good condition, cast chassis, big magnets and nice rubber roll surround that won't rot away. DC resistance is just under 10 ohms. Don't worry about the 22 watt rating, you wouldn't be able to stay in the same room with them at even 15 watts, they'd deafen you!

Shame you didn't ask me a quarter of an hour ago. They're already on eBay since about ten minutes ago.

Might be worth your while putting a bid in. My opening price is £35. I reckon they'll fetch more, but you never know.

Hi Geoff, Damn it only just noticed your post before replying and at the speed I type I probably would have been too late anyway.
No worries I will take me chance on the bay (got a link) I'll let you know if its me that wins 'em
cheers
Paul

Well at least you're potentially within 'collect' distance.

If there are no bids on them you can safely remove the listing ;)

Still available!

I'll throw in the cone tweeters they came with:

http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?34687-Late-Sixties-4-quot-Cone-Tweeters-High-Impedance

And the matching simple capacitor filter. So you've got all the bits for a complete 15 ohm, high sensitivity speaker system for your valve amp!

The asking price is now £30 + £12 carriage (a bargain, but I need the space).

Sod it! I need the space, so these are now FREE to anybody paying the postage.

I quoted £12 carriage, but I'll get an exact quote from a carrier before sending just so I'm not out of pocket. They're pretty heavy.

These are nice units, I believe that Rogers used these in one of their speakers, was in conjunction with the Celestion HF1300.

FREE!

Just pay the carriage. :)

(And, no. I don't want to get involved in sending them overseas)

My friend in Sheffield would like them, would that be OK?

I can pay the postage.
