Can anyone suggest a TUNER guru that might be able to advise on upgrades, alignment etc?

Well I've played enough (or should that be played with enough) with loads of amateur radio projects, receivers, transmitters, video, amateur television, repeater stations, apart from hi-fi stuff.

Always helps to have some good test gear as well - tick.
What's the problem?

I was going to flog my Magnum Dyanlab FT101A tuner but decided to keep it. I've fancied something different and hankered after a Sansui TU919, Audiolab 8000t or the McClaren Tag 32t. But, after not seeing many of these around I decided to upgrade the FT101A. It's never been checked over as it was a purchase from eBay.com so its probably not optimally set up for pick up stations in the UK. I have also seen a number of upgrades available from Dynalab and wondered if I could kill two birds with one stone in so much as modding at as far as poss whilst have it serviced/set up for UK usage and then hopefully putting my Tuner itch to bed!
