View Full Version : Asynch-1 Digital Coax Suggestion

Hi

Can anyone suggest a good coax for the Asynch.

The problem I am having is that both a Mark Grant G1000 and a home made cable from Brian have connectors that are too big to fully insert into the Asynch's phono connector. The problem seems to be the casing seems too tight around the phono connector itself, if it doesn't accept a Mark Grant cable.

Regards

Darren

Is this post Beresford-related, Darren? If not, I shall need to move it into the main digital section :)

Hi Marco

Sorry but I thought it was best to get advice from forum members who actually owned the product, but move it if you wish.

What I meant, Darren, is if your query is in any way related to Beresford products, as this is the Beresford section.

I ask because I simply don’t know. If not, then I shall move it to the main digital area. If so, then I’ll leave it where it is, as I’ve no idea what an “Asynch-1 Digital Coax” is. You need to advise me one way or the other.

Simples :)

Marco.

Hi Marco

Sorry, probably not a good heading. What I am after is to find a suitable digital coax for the Aysych.

Sure, but what is exactly is the Aysych? Is it part of a Beresford DAC? I genuinely don’t know! :)

Hi Marco

There are several threads already here, but it converts a USB signal to either coax or optical.

Cheers, Darren. I’m an analogue/vinyl boy, so not up on all the latest ‘digital terminology’ :)

If your query isn’t Beresford-specific, then I’ll move it (and all others here of that nature) to the main digital section, as that is where they should be.

Marco.

Lol - I give up! :eyebrows:

I’ve leave it where it is then.

The Asynch1 is a usb to dig coax/ tos convertor made by Beresford Marco. EG, from your laptop to a dac....

Cheers, Grant. I know that now… Just trying to keep all of Stan’s stuff in the one place :)

Hi Darren,

I'm using a Ecosse The Director MD2 SE. Fits ok on the ASYNCH. They go for around 139 quids. However, got mine with a mag subscription :D Sounds good to me.

Stan does an interconnects, if I recall.
