Hi everybody!

I am here to feed my crazy hungry audio mania, learn and share what I can.
I am open to answers, post photos and to contribute as much as I can.

I have already a certain history in the equipment department.
After many researches, buys and trades, my system now is composed by :

- Shiga transport MKII of VICOL Audio - I am in a GB thread in DIY forum for 100 boards. It means that I have not yet IT.
- Dac Yulong DA8
- LM3886 monoblocs, 300VA each channel, with black gate in psu and LDR in the amp board - amp board supplied by Uriah from builanamp.com. This is a serious amp, superior to the Nuforce monos Ref9V3 SE - for my ears, the chipamp is more exciting in musical terms. The Nuf are "grey", compared to the LM. THis is also due to the LDRs.
- Essence loudspeakers from Sakura Systems modified with WBT Nylon terminals.
- Digital cable - ota from 47Labs and copper foil with Eichman plugs.
- Interconnect - Copper foil with Eichman plugs.
- Speaker cables - Each cable is 4cm large. I glued the foils to each other - more inductance, right?
- Power cables - 4 ota cables 47Labs in paraller, coming from only one Plug, to the intire system, no earth. Clever idea from someone else. The ota as power cable are very neutral and gives a lot of "finesse" without pushing.
I am thinking about having a Croft amp to change time by time, order two Audionirvana 15 inch drivers and order a wood cabinet, here in France.
I will open a thread for the Croft SOV amp before to get one and another for the Audionirvana subject.
- I may consider having a Mac too, as a source - it will be the subject to another thread, and the new Amber Lampizator dac, much later.

So you can see what are my hifi tastes.
I ear Chamber music, electronic, some jazz, brasilian and "classical" music from XX century, like Chostakovitch, for ex, but I also like very much Bach, Shubert, Scarlatti... I hear loud and almost allwyas take a seat, but I also hear bossa nova when I am in the kitchen.

Voilą!!

Welcome Francisco,

Where are you in France? There are a few of us over here, mostly in the middle downwards though.

As a matter of fact, I am a double member.
I am in this forum under another user but I forgot the name and everything else.
Also, I think that I had another email at that time.
I had one or more discussions about the Beresford dac that I had, the gatorized one.
By the way, (here I am again...), I'd like to hear the new Caiman MKII and "see" how it stands side by side with the Yulong DA8 or the Benchmark HDR. I forgot to mention that I also have a Benchmark HDR.
Well, I'm curious...!
