That looks really nice. Has to be a bargain at the price. I like Denon amps, they're always good.

Its a solid "entry level" amp, notice the CD input is labelled DAD [Digital Audio Disc] I'd not seen that before.

Funny but I have seen that DAD before but for the life of me I can't remember where..... Looks a tidy unit for that price

Here's a nude:

Might not be the prettiest but you can see: Oversized transformer twice the size usually found in such amps, oversized heatsink - this amp runs cool all day long, switching is remote to keep the signal path short as possible, low noise IC phono stage with discrete MC boost, all critical caps are film surprisingly, discrete class A-B output stage with DC servo front end which makes for a very modern "clean" sound.

All in all its pretty impressive for a starter amp [spring clips aside!]

A bit of a stonking bargain if you ask me, pity I'm not in the market for another amp.

GLWTS,

This was my first ever piece of proper HIFI kit and I still have this amp. Good luck with the sale.

I might be interested in it, what does it sound like?
I no likey too clinical a sound.

I've got a lovely Sony TA-F6B that I've fell out of love with and and am considering selling on here.:mental:

Hi John, i would say its on the cool side of neutral so possibly not to your taste... It's definitely more at home with 70s speakers than 80s if you know what I mean ?
