FOR SALE is my
Ortofon Cadenza Bronze MC Cartridge

I have put the cartridge on e-Bay for £899 on a Buy It Now price incl. p&p.

I'm offering the cartridge to the forum for £750 incl. p&p

It has about 150/200hrs on it being installed in late October 2013. I'm only selling it because it has been replaced by a Cadenza Black MC Cartridge.

A true reference cartridge by any measure, Ortofon's Cadenza Bronze conveys music with smashing precision, musicality, and dynamics. Employing a Replicant 100 stylus, conical aluminum cantilever, and Ortofon's famous Aucurum 6N gold-plated copper wire, the Cadenza Bronze is an analog lover’s dream.

“Now the music thundered out into the room, and I stopped wondering what the musicians were using in the studio and enjoyed the music. Every LP I played sprang from my loudspeakers with a such a beautifully honed clarity and vivid dynamics that I spent evenings happily transfixed.”
Hi-Fi World, August 2009

The Ortofon Bronze possesses superb resolution, able to illuminate the furthest reaches of the sound stage, and it does so with striking warmth and musicality. In a world of excellent phono cartridges, the Bronze shines as a clearly superior design.

I have spoken to Henley Designs who tell me that the normal life expectancy for this cartridge is in excess of 1500 hrs.
The normal retail price is £1,395.00, so for the asking price of £750.00 a true high-end cartridge is within your grasp.

Really pleased you've sold this Clive......I was becoming uncomfortably tempted to buy, but would have been in the dog-house if I had succumbed.
