Asynch 1 not working with Ipad

Wonder if anyone could give me some advice.

I'm trying to use an Asynch-1 (Mac version, which Stan kindly sent me to try out) with my Ipad mini (Using the camera connection USB kit.) It does not work at all, but my other DACs (a Caiman MK1 and an Arcam DAC) work fine with the IPad using their USB inputs. Does anyone have any ideas if there is a way to get the Asynch to work? I remember someone saying they got an Ipad to work with an Asynch1 but I can't find the post off hand.

That will have been me. My iPad (3rd Gen) works fine with the Asynch 1 using the Apple camera kit. I don't have an iPad mini so can't comment from experience on that device.

Thanks for the info. I assume you have the mac version of the Asynch-1? Not the windows version?

It'll be the same Beresford kit for both OS, both Windoze and MacOS.
What may be the difference is the level of OS within the device, or the firmware level for peripheral devices within said device.
