Hi all.
I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the latest TEAC VACS (anti vibrational transport thingie) that is used on their smaller units?

Nope, but I wonder what advantages it has over the transport in say my TEAC VRDS 25X and if this new transport can be fitted to said CD player?

Not sure... I doubt it but you never know. Might be worth a look-see though.
No idea what the advantages over VDRS

Hopefully the ability to read CDR and CDRW. I had a VRDS unit and it was good enough but could only read commercially produced music CDs.
Seems obsolete when you can use any generic Blu Ray drive, read everything, and buffer it all to memory, re-reading on error, to make any vibration issues meaningless.
