Hi,

I have for sale a pair of black Rega Ela in excellent condition.
This is the half flute version with the Royd units.
The veneer is in excellent condition and there are no significant marks in both units.
Perfect for placing close to rear wall in a small room and of course for Naim kit.

Wonderful price for a nice old classic speaker :) You can use them better than with Naim too, as they're an easy load from memory and will respond to a less harsh amp driving them ;)

My Sapphire uses the exact same bass driver. Very fast bass drivers!

A friend was looking for some speakers for a second system at around £100, I had suggested yours, but then saw that it said you had sold them.

Sorry, but if you had withdrawn them from sale you should have said, not put now sold. :)
He went and bought some Tannoy Mercurys from Richer.

I did sell them.
The buyer paid and collected them. A week later I regret ed selling them and started looking for rega Elas. The buyer saw my post and contacted me asking if I wanted them back. I said yes, refunded him and got them back.

Thanks for the sale Carlos, was a pleasure meeting you.

Just had the chance to test them out a little bit. Listened to a range of stuff, my sub does a good job at compensating for the bass on anything with a heavy beat. I wasnt hugely impressed at first, but jazz sounds really good. So i decided to listen to http://youtu.be/QVHBhbZxrQw. Always a good one for me to base line as i was lucky enough to be there when it was recorded live ^^.
I was blown away! They do such a good job at this type of music!

Swapped over to my QAcoustics 2050i to compare, jesus they sound so poor comparison lol. They just didnt remind me of the hall at all xD.
