FS: Alchemist Kraken APD6 + Free Stands.

Here for sale is the fantastic and highly sought after Alchemist Kraken APD6 Class A integrated amplifier.

This is the nice ''early'' MK1 Kraken. Never really liked the look of the later versions!

Very unique design as the transformer is housed in a separate box. The box has 1 transformer, not two.

I'm not sure if this Kraken has got a built in phono stage, or not?. Sadly my turntable is out of order, this prevents me from checking.

In very good condition. Some marks but nothing serious.

I'm asking £250, firm. I've watched single transformer Kraken sell for much more!!

It is indeed a lovely amp but sadly overlooked!

Some people do get put off by its idiosyncratic appearance. I'm not ashamed to admit that for sure!

Great products, I remember many years ago listening to some Alchemist gear through some Dynaudio speakers at a high-end shop in Dunstable, was extremely good set up.

I have too many products sitting around at the moment (some of which I am trying to sell myself) otherwise I might be tempted.

Those stands look like original Heybrook HB1 stands, you might want to advertise them as such, they are quite sought after as I recently sold a reconditioned pair of HB1's with Heybrook stands.
