Greetings one and all and profuse apologies for not realising I should be introducing myself on this thread before.

My name is Adam, I am contributor to and ex-assistant editor of Hi-Fi World magazine and I have worrying obsessions with both turntables and Range Rovers. I currently own 36 examples of the former but luckily only one example of the latter.

Welcome to AoS. Someone normally comes along and invites you to post pics of your kit in the Gallery area - it's gunna be particularly interesting in your case !!:lolsign:
Also, there's no wonder the price of TTs on eBay is keeping so high - youv' got all the spare ones !! :lolsign:

And for those who don't know, it was Adam that persuaded me to bring in Jelco arms and then the 750D which he did a rather nice review on.

Welcome to AOS Adam. Sod the hi-fi, which Range Rover have you got? I've always had a soft-spot for the early Land Rovers (Mk 3, short wheelbase especially!)

Looking forward to seeing your 5 page Gallery post showcasing all those turntables :)

Welcome i'm new too, i have read a fair bit of your stuff in the mag and also have a soft spot for Landys and the like, i currently have a Disco commercial for tootling about in but have also owned other products from Solihull including a 2 door Range Rover Classic:cool:

My Range Rover is a 1994 'soft dash' Vogue SE 3.9V8 with all the toys (all of which work - at the moment anyway!). I've wanted one since I was about 15 and having had it for two months now it's everything I hoped it would be. Even 14mpg and a £650 air suspension repair bill haven't put me off it yet :)

As to the turntable photos, people keep asking me for some of these so I will try and organise a weekend to lock myself in the loft room and take pictures of the whole lot in one go. That will at least help ME to remember what I've got, if nothing else. :doh:

A massive turntable collection - pics PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

Works at HFW - hmmmm - well, I'll forgive you ;)

Loves Range Rovers - you used to have to be rather rich to own one, as they went wrong so often and fell apart with rust (show's how old I am don't it?).

Sorry to ressurect, and not sure I can welcome someone who joined before me, but hi Beobloke. I'm a Landy fan too, my current one being "Maggie" the 1991 Defender 110, spent most of her life in Africa doing what Landy's do, now enjoying a quiet retirement in Suffolk... until I take her to the Suffolk Land Rover Owners Club courses at Newbourne or greenlaning... I too would love to see some turntable photos, that's some collection!
