OK Al, I know I've upset you deeply but you can't ignore me I'm afraid.

Not totally anyway. If anyone quotes a post from er.....me......you will still see it no matter how hard you try not to look. Might then feel tempted to insult and Bob's yer aunty, the ignore system has been ignored.

How annoying:lol:

Why are there only two posts showing on this thread?
It says that there are 4 replies?

its the trend to talk about someone/something and not name them don't you know

I don't recall ever having to use it myself although I have been tempted on the odd occasion. If it ever got to the stage I felt the need it would likely be a forum suspension issue for the guilty party anyway.

With the best will in the world, there are always going to be some personalities that just don't get on. Its better to ignore them than to be constantly annoyed by how they post.

There are very few people that really push the mods into action thank goodness but rather more that can be annoying. If I join a club and don't like the existing members, I can either avoid them or go elsewhere. No different on a forum.

Ah, but even annoying people have something interesting to say from time to time and I do hate to miss out, I bought the bunting and banners specially for such occasions...

I'm not actually keen on the idea of an 'ignore list'.

It's your prerogative to use the 'ignore' facility, however it would be poor etiquette to name those publicly. :nono:

You would be in breach of Forum rules.

A rather disappointing thread this, which serves no constructive purpose so its being closed.
