Hello trouble, how's the Audeze?

Justin

Trouble? TROUBLE?!?! Well how rude......:unfair:

:)

Going good mate. I only use them for 30 mins until she falls asleep and then it's back on to the main speakers.

Listening to them I love them, then I listen through the speakers and it makes the Audeze's sound a bit shut in and thick. I bought a Toxic Cable for them which made a small but worthwhile improvement.

How you doing fella? All good?

Hi Tim. Welcome.

Enjoy AOS,
Geoff.

Cheers for the welcome guys. AoS looks like a nice friendly kid of place so far. It was Paul from Reference Fidelity recommended the site to me....

Ok my system:

Vinyl - Noooooo..........way to lazy to keep getting up.

Digital source - Custom build by Item Audio. Spec including:

Silent cooling,
1TB SSD,
Adnaco outboard USB stage with outboard PSU (silly money but amazing compared to sound-cards),
Chord Sarum USB,
SOTM USB/SPDIF converter with Clock upgrades and outboard power supply,
Audioquest Wild AES/EBU

Pre-amp - Boulder

Dac - Boulder

Power amp - Boulder

Speakers - B&W 800Diamonds

Interconnects/Speaker cables - All custom made by Paul at Reference Fidelity with Bybee Purifiers fitted....cue abuse....3,2,1...GO! :sofa:

Power conditioning - Furman - doesn't squash dynamics and you can turn your entire system on and off (inc tv, sky box etc.) with one switch.

Headphones - Audeze LCD-3 with Toxic Cable.

Headphone Amp - Aurilic Taurus.

Music wise - Everything except classical and jazz.

I'm at the rare place in hifi where I'm now happy with my system and the only thing I need is a quad rail power supply for my main server. This will need to be custom made and I'm having problems sourcing someone to do it. (is there anyone on AoS that may be able to help me?)
In time I may go to the big Boulder mono's, but I'm enjoying the simplicity and tidiness of my system now (and they're c.£50k even 2nd hand). I used to have 4 mono power amps, they were superb but the cable network was just plain silly.

I'm good mate thanks! Sounds as though the system is right up there with the best, I imagine it all sounds very impressive!! If your ever over in Essex, give us a shout.

Stay well.
