Roksan Darius speaker stands / cages for sale

Roksan Darius speaker stands / cages for sale...not bad condition for 30 years old...would prefer collect on these..however I could wrap some cardboard round them if you want to arrange your own courier...is £60 ok??...

What are the dimensions of the top of the stand, and how tall is it?

Hi stands are a touch over 1 mtr tall and the top measures 40 x 32 cm.....the Darius' go inside the top part of the cage and are secured by grub screws...The original grub screws are in place..however I used long bolts with nuts to lock the bolts to avoid movement...THE DARIUS CABS MEASURE 47CM HIGH X 40CM DEEP X 27CM WIDE...pic below

Wow that's a real blast from the past. I recall selling these from new way back in the day when I was a Saturday boy in the audio trade. Nice speakers and interesting concept.

Yes the stands/cages were designed to hang the speakers in a suspended way...there is only 8 studs in contact with the speakers...but I love bass and the Target R1's they are now on...give me lots of it..controlled and tight..originally designed to test run the new Xerxes turntable of the time...i've had too many speakers to count and settled with this old vintage pair of Darius's which suit me down to the ground...the speaker cages are surplus to requirement now..and they are taking up space...Over the years the speakers and the cages have been seperated by the many owners..just thought someone might have a pair without the cages and would like to buy these...Not actually sure I'm doing the right thing splitting them up?...

Yes....I've got the original external cross-over too....WITHDRAWN FROM SALE..I'll find a nook for them somewhere....thankyou chaps...

jesus, 30 years ago.
I properly feel old now..i remember the ads for these in popular hifi..hifi answers etc.
there was one for the speakers with some French clown dude hand painting the speakers in lurid colours, my ahem, speakers at the time were wharfedale lazer 40s!!
I wanted to kill the frog c**t!!!
