I posted elsewhere on here recently that I had chanced upon these just in time as they were about to be taken to the dump. The mid-ranges needed re-foaming and the cabinets a good revamp. There was quite a lot of water damage. However all drive units were working.

After many hours at the grease that is elbow we have this. Will take some less blurry pics sometime:D

I am not able to put them in an ideal position at the mo to get an idea of their sound. Initial impressions are that the treble is a bit obvious, but I seem to remember reading that this could be the case.

Vary nice. But where's the photo of your wife? She's pretty scrummy!

There's a review in Hi Fi Answers if I can find it. Can't remember who used to be a fan of them.

Think it might have been Alvin Gold.

Ah you mean the avatar? She's an ugly mean old bat, she would choke on her soused herrings and raw garlic if she knew she was being called "scrummy":D

I couldn't find any reviews online. I have some old Audiophile mags, but none older than 1992. I will have a look through them though. My mate found a reference to the price of them in 1989 as being around £500.
