Hi everyone,

My living room has been recently decorated... and where my hi-fi is now it does take over the living room somewhat... so I've decided that my main hifi should go in the 'Man Cave'.

So I'm looking for a decent quality small hi-fi for my living room - I've always liked the JVC MX-S6 and similar systems

Was wondering if anyone has got one I could have (I'll pay P&P) ? - I'd much appreciate it.

Similar to the photo attached.

Thanks all!

Can I suggest alternatives from JVC the EX - MD90 set up was quiet good as was the F 3000 system - better than the likes of the MD90 - was also good. The UX D88 was a lovely wee micro system - I used mine with Ruark speakers when I had one.

JVC made some very nice items back in the late 90s early 2000s - sadly a pale shadow these days of what they once were. This was during my period in the brown goods trade and I sold lots of JVC setups like the ones above - sins of omission rather than commission.

Thanks for the info Neil... Ive only really ever come across the mx range like above.. what I most favor at the moment abiut that system is the size of it and the fact it can sit either as a tower or side by side.. ine feature I desire at the moment.

Ive been on ebay but these systems very rarely come up so thought id ask if someone on here has one. I had the mx-s6 years back.., didnt have it long as it got robbes when our house was burgled. Burglars even managed to take the speakers off the brackets.. cheeky monkeys.

if anyone has something similar id greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Chris.

Looks like it got melted in a fire.

If it was me I would go for one of the Seventies/early Eighties 'mini compo' systems, much cooler, better sounding, better build and just as compact.
