Whenever I hear of a mod to my DAC, I am always interested. Especially when it involves someone parting with a lot of cash for the mod. As you guys know, I give away details of my mods for free. I only charge if I have to do it for anyone if they can't do it themselves. So you know what mod it is that you are getting. When it is unclear what one is paying for, then practice extreem caution.

This must be an expert in audiophilia's technical term as I am totally unfamiliar with it - should it be added to the lexicon of hi-fi terms that is being compiled by other members? :lolsign:
For the benefit of Sasenach (sp?) laypersons could we have a translation please? .
Cheers,

I think we should steel ourselves for an unpleasant explanation. I have a mental image of Braveheart where the scottish army turn round and lift their kilts to the english.

Hi Trailer,
Thanks for that - to save others looking it up the translation is "Ballbag, term of endearment." - not quite what I was expecting.

Hi Jerry,
Garry, be unpleasant, I don't believe it - he's not capable of it, no Glaswegians (or nearby) are :lolsign: - he's a pussycat, surely? ;)

Hi Gaz,
I've scrutinised all the images in your link in very great detail and I cant find one, not one, that remotely resembles your avatar, so regretably the answer has to be "No, not like those" :lolsign:
