Hi guys I am selling my T21 tuner after having just bought an Audiolab 8000T.
The tuner was bought from Richard Giddings aka RGBristol of this parish who refurbs A&R A60 amps and tuners and then sells them on here and who is a complete gent.
I've copied part of an e-mail (below) Richard sent to me (hope you don't mind Richard) at the time I purchased this and an A60 amp from him.
The tuner works perfectly and sounds excellent and is as near new as you'll find for a nearly thirty year old stereo tuner.
The tuner comes with the original manual and a din to RCA adaptor but not the cable mentioned below.
I'm happy to post the tuner to a UK postcode and also worldwide but please get in touch for a postal cost if you are interested.
I'm just looking to get back what I paid for the tuner which was £115 inculding UK post.
Payment by BT, PPG, cleared personal cheque or cash on collection from Glasgow at £90.
I have photos which are the ones that Richard sent me so will stick them on flickr or someat later on.
I am of course open to sensible offers so please contact me by PM for photos or info etc.
Thanks for reading.
Tony
"Hi Tony
Further to my recent PF message - here are some details on my T21.
Serial number is 7,110. The date inside it on the LED panel is September 1987. This must be one of the very last ones made, as The T21 & A60 was discontinued in early 1988 from memory.
I have carried out a full recap of all the electrolytic capacitors and reservoir capacitor within the last fortnight.
It has a brand new high quality din plug lead, to connect to your A60, so will be plug and play.
Cover sleeve is black to match your A60.
Original instruction book, but no original box. Will be securely packed if dispatched however.
Photos enclosed were taken earlier this evening.
Tuner is in perfect working order. No drifting off tune once warmed up.
In use as I type this in my office, sounding superb.
If you are interested, I would be looking for £95 plus UK postage - so say £115 total.
This must be one of the very best T21s around."
