Aluminium or Carbon Fibre Tonearm Wands?

Does the Forum think that one type of tonearm wand is better than the other or are they just two ways of getting to the same destination?

I have both in the same arm.
I prefer the aluminium outer with the carbon reinforcing.

I think how they are implemented probably makes more difference than the specific material.
