Which model?

Obviously they can only be bought second hand now but I see there is one on eBay right now. Why does it have to be an NEC?

Oh, by the way, any minute now a moderator is going to point out to you that when you join this forum it is a requirement that you start by saying something about yourself, your system and your musical tastes. Also, you can't just put your location as the UK, you have to be a bit more specific (it is all explained in the confirmation email you received).

Cheers and problem being i never received the conformation email! I have been looking for it all today and thought id try and login and it worked! Im rather new to forums so forgive me! Do you think its a long shot to find one unused? I was hoping to get a P325E....

But you have to click on a link in said email to activate your account (I believe).

Anyway, do I think it's a long shot to find one unused - yes, very unlikely I would say.

If i did manage to find one what kind of money do you reckon id have to part with?

I think it will be a minor miracle if you find one that isn't second hand - haven't a clue as to price I'm afraid. A second hand one sold on eBay for £15 according to a brief Google search.

Oh right, but if you've found one why ask? Not sure why you would really want one either to be honest.

Trying to complete an all-NEC system? There are folk here doing crazier stuff than that ;)

Just a thought. I'm assuming the NEC turntable is a Japanese (type) design. Many Japanese turntables use similar sized belts and you may find a cheap belt off eBay for maybe a Pioneer or Sansui turntable will work. If dimensions are quoted, measure your belt and compare, buy a belt very slightly smaller than yours in length, as it will have stretched over time.

I think he wants the whole turntable - the belts aren't that hard to get.
