My Bro has a couple of 1210's he wasnts to get back up and running to get back into his (unfortunately!) DJing.

He says what needs replaced is the "one piece arm pivot", thinks is a one piece aluminium cast?
Not sure what hes meaning but if anyone can point to some useful info or help out, that'd be great.

If we know what to get we can get it sorted!

thanks.
G.

The arm comes in one piece with its pivot stand as a part. It is pretty cheap to get as a spare part and can be easily replaced

Thanks, thats good to know, cheers.
I know "hee haw" about Technics decks!

Is there an Ebay/member link to the part we need to order?

The part number is SFPAM18201K for the MK2

I got mine from the local parts technics representative. It was way cheaper than ebay.

Thanks for that mate.
Put that part number in though and only got links to the whole arm?

Have you a link to the part I could use?

Cheers!

As Dimmy says it is all of one piece. You have to buy the whole thing.

Ah right, I see.

Ah well, I'll put my Bro onto the Site here:
http://www.juno.co.uk/labels/Technics/

Seems to be all things Technics.

Thanks guys.

Gary I have a full tonearm from a Mk5. You are welcome to it for postage only. I have recently checked postage from NZ for a platter and that was £40.00. So the tonearm would be close to that.

I'll get back to my Brother and be in touch about it.
