View Full Version : Rega turntable bearing (Planar 3) stainless steel ball bearing wanted?
I don't suppose anyone has one of these lying around spare? I have a project on the go at the moment and the ball is missing . . .

Are you sure you can afford it..
If it's for a Rega deck, check to tighten the arm and main bearing to the plinth, as slackness here ruins the sound!

I've been saving up for it ;)

:D
I did look at those Al, as well as the Ruby Sapphire ones (which are very pretty!), but most folk on the Rega threads at Vinylengine reckon they can't tell the difference between those and a stock Rega one. I also remember a ceramic thrust base for Garrard 401's causing wear on the spindle, so I thought I would play safe and to be honest I would prefer a stock one ;)
