Michell Gyrodec SE or Project 6 Perspex ? I like the look of each of them and both have had excellent reviews.

Is listening to both out the question? Ideally on a home loan with the same cartridge. That will tell you the best.

Both excellent turntables. Sadly, I think you're going to have to do some listening!

It was a very close run thing choosing between these turntables but I decided to buy a Michell Gyrodec SE which is now on order. :)

Ditto - Gyro SEs are owned by a fine class of person, IMHO.

Good choice, that's what I would have gone for out of those two :)

Not long joined the Gyro club here...

Long time away from vinyl (25+ years) and the Michel has ticked every single box I'd hoped for.
Sound quality, pride of ownership, talking point for visitors... :)

That said, did a wee bit of work on it...

Think the Gyro's been a good move mate.
Project looks "ok" to me, but a bit meh.
