Wanted: a quality pair of bookshelf speakers

I'm looking around for a good quality pair of bookshelf speakers for bargain s/h price. They need to be able 'shine' at lowish volumes in my small listening room. Spendor SA1's, S3/5 R2's or similar perhaps... Just missed out on Jason's Neat's yesterday... they'd of done me a treat :(

KEF LS50's are superb and could be considered bookshelf speakers.

I have heard these speakers many times and have been very impressed with them.
