400v on the anode

Hello,
My real name is Graham Floyd, I live in darkest East Northamptonshire and I have been interested in Hi Fi since I was at school way back in the late 1960's. Back then I was also interested in electronics and have mixed the two hobbies ever since.
Currently on my main system I have a pair of Tannoy Cheviot speakers, these are driver as the whim takes me, either by a 100 watt FET power amp that I designed around 10 years ago or by a 50 watt valve amp which is based losely on a Mullard circuit which I built back in 1977. I also have a valve 100 watt amp which is not quite yet finished. To Driver the power amp I have a pre amp which is passive for all line level inputs but active for MM phono level input, this pre amp is fully my design and involves switching for record and playback of three tape sources.
The sources are:
Revox A77 Mk 4 high speed half track reel to reel with Dolby (a special built for me)
Ferrograph SP7 reel to reel
Akai 1800 SS reel to reel
Teac A450 cassette deck
Myryad Z112 CD player
Garrard 401 with SME 3009 S2 with Shure V15III
Goldring Lenco GL75 with SME 3009 S3 with Shure V15III
Goldring Lenco GL78 with Linn LVX fitted with Shure M97XE
Home built PC running Windows XP professional with a M Audio 24/96 sound card (machine not connected to the internet)
Panasonic Blueray DVD recorder (can't remember the model number).
The 50 watt valve amp usually sits in the office connected to the PC in there with a Sound Blaster Pro sound card and a pair of Sansui bookshelf speakers (this set up is used to edit digital copies of vinyl and tape downloads usually for other people).
Sitting in my garage/workshop is a Heathkit AR2000 tuner amp which I built as a kit back in school days driving a pair of Dynatron speakers and this is also used for testing repairs and new built kit.
Music: Anything except Opera and Rap (the latter has a silent 'c' at the start).
So that is me.
