Theta DS Pro Progeny DAC "version A" in excellent condition, coax and Toslink inputs, boxed with manual and UK power lead. I've used this DAC for the past 5 years and only selling as the upgrade bug has struck! Theta DACs have a higher than normal output voltage at around 4V which means that music will sound loud when the amplifier is on a low volume setting. I found that a pair of GoldenJacks -14dB attenuators work a treat allowing the volume control to be used as usual. These attach to the analogue outputs of the DAC and are included in the sale price.. You may find you don't need them in your system.

Yes things are quiet. Post holiday and pre Christmas skintedness I expect. I've had a couple of nice items on sale here for ages and no joy. (actually, my Meridian 206 would be a perfect match with the DS Pro Progeny. I know, because I used it with one! :))

My Theta Transport and Dac was one of the best duos, if not the best, I've ever owned.
Things are tough these days but the asking price is more than fair.

Great DAC, a definite step up from flavour of the month budget DACs. It'll sell easy on eBay. Must get mine out again.

hi im thinking of adding a dac to my marantz cd17 ki sig ,pathos logos and jamo concert 11 speakers i just think it might be a good match as my system needs a good turn up to make it sing any thoughts im in abertillery (sunny wales ) not :lol:
