We have a very basic HP printer. Its a cheap silver thing we've had a few years, cant weigh more than a box of matches. Up until now I've been able to buy the ink separately which suits my pocket in terms of outlay at the time. Today i went to replace the colour and was told that although i can still get the black and white they no longer do the colour separately. Basically when colour runs out its the twin pack of colour and black and white or nothing! Thats £28 please. I wouldnt get that for the printer. Can anyone recommend a good but simple alternative printer ie one that is generally cheaper than others for ink replacement please, or a cheap trusted replacement ink cartridge source. I Know Kodak's printer ink was cheaper on some of its recent printers.
