A confirmed "ear" fan

Hi Y'all
I have been a browser for some time so its time I introduced myself
I am a fan of EAR valve gear and moved to it after many years with an all Naim system
Got fed up of the vast number of black boxes.

Now happily listening to my LP12, Audionote CDP, EAR 864, EAR 8L6...............
and when SWMBO complains a beautiful pair of bamboo LCD-2 headphones!!

Musical tastes are very wide including the original heavy stuff and Italian Baroque

But Thea Gilmore floats my boat; go see her.......live music is still the best

You are in good company here. Many EAR users on AOS. My mate has an 861 power amp driving a pair of Tannoys, sounds excellent.

Hi, welcome and glad you love the EAR gear. Shame Tim deP had to increase prices so much in recent years for UK pockets, as the pleasure of this gear when new is denied to so many in the UK now (apparently he sells shedloads to the far east...). Hope you find much to enjoy here :)
