Classic Linn pre-amp in perfect condition and perfect working order. MM and MC phono stage. With manual (slightly dog-eared), original box (in very good condition) and interconnects (Canon XLR to phono). Phono stages accept standard RCA plugs straight from your turntable. That has to be a bargain in anyone's eyes.

Pity I dislike Linn so much.

Had one with the Dirac PSU and an LK 280 wish I had never sold them. Is the remote included?

Macca

No remote. It was an optional extra when these were new and the original owner told me he was already pushing the boat out to buy the pre amp in the first place and couldn't run to the extra (I think) £30. These were expensive pre-amps back in the day, as I'm sure you recall.

Hi Martin

Would it work with an Musical Fidelity E100...?

Macca

An E100 is an integrated so you would need to split it and just use the power amp section (if that is possible on the E100 _ I guess it is or you wouldn't be asking). So yes it will work but I don't know if it will be a synergistic match.

this amp will work with any amp that has pre-inputs..thus using your amp as the power and the Linn as the control....very good at that price

The LK1 has a very good phonostage too for those who like the black stuff ;)

Nice one Andy, you won't be disappointed. The LK1 is quite a compact unit too {about the size of a Rega DAC although not quite as tall) so it can sit on a shelf in your rack next to a similarly sized component... :)

Thanks Dave, was gonna try a BTE passive but think it wouldn't be a good match with my amp,
getting fed up having to disconnect and swap over sources constantly,
plus the phonostage and ability to source a remote is nice.

Mr Kipling

It could be used with any integrated amp by using the tape out connections.

This Linn will eat the BTE passive for breakfast...
