When I saw them live in the late 80's, honestly Joanne & Susan looked so disinterested they would rather have been home doing the ironing! (it was the 80's, that's what girls did back then!) But I still love Dare, Hysteria & Crash - even Octopus - in fact I have declared tomorrow "National Human League Day" and will be playing all their albums in chronological order!

I was forced to go see them a few years ago at Sheffield city hall. Joanna was nearly a gonna, A giant rigging chain just drop from the lighting gantry, ripped the corner of the stage set & literally missed her by a foot.. I bet she was feeling fascination ok

Great album 'Still' I had both the Pink & Blue sleeves. The 1st issue had a textured finish with a stuck on Art centre. re-issue were printed onto a smooth finish sleeve.
I'm sure I've seen a copy where the artwork was the full cover size, never seen it in blue thought !

Only the late CD Re-issue will you have seen full photo renamed 'Stillusion'
The Blue edition was a early 70's repress. As with the Pink Re-Press latter was not a textured sleeve. Early ones were.

It’s a great album, glad you liked it.
Saw him play the whole album live late last year, it’s even better played 10 feet front of you!
So glad I saw it, one of my favourite albums of the last few years.
The guys a helluva good guitar player, was rocking out in a way I wasn’t expecting.
Do you have Netflix?
Simpson made an animated movie of the album, coolest thing I’d seen in years.

Dominick, I have a spare vinyl copy of 'Nursery Crime' which I bought at a car boot a few years ago, forgetting that I already had it. You're welcome to this free of charge, just PM me a delivery address if you want it.
Can't go wrong with a bit of Nursery Crime :)

Yeh thats right i have all the early Remasters, I was referring to Vinyl releases back then..
While we are on it. Regarding the Hawkwind cover of Pink Floyd "Cymbaline" on the debut Remaster CD , i much prefer that to the Floyd jobbie from 'More'
If you don't have it the Esoteric 3CD edition of their 'Warrior on the Edge of Time' is well worth getting. It's actually the first time its been officially released on CD.. I bought the Box set when it came out with the Vinyl, although the label looked good & sounded every bit as good as the first issue, The Sleeve quality as usual was disappointing to me, A issue i always have.

'Master of Reality' is my fav Sabbath album. Dunno why i just think its super. The 2CD Expanded CD is fantastic.. Getting a Minto flip top 1st edition on Swirly is near on impossible. They are either squashed out of shape and/or the laminate around the embossed lettering has parted company.
May as well give it some Hawkwind 'Choose your Masques' This was a great album, They did the Sci-Fi thing down to a 'T' with "Dream Worker" Saw them twice on the Masques Pt1 & 2 tour. Brilliant live

yeah to a point, but I go see the Strawbs every time they're in Town (sometimes the acoustic, sometimes the Electric Band) I don't expect them to sound the same ( but they come real close with the electric band).
I don't think I'd be buying a rework / retake of Grave New World tho..
And I've said it before its about time their back catalogue was given the 180g treatment. Bet they wouldn't do a reish of the Grave New World Cover tho. That must have cost a few bob first time around.
I'll also admit to leaving before the end of Dr Feelgood and Colin Bluntstone in recent months but I was pleased that I gave them a go … if that makes sense. :D

Its was all about the sound of the time & the old instruments they used etc. Recreating the sound in modern times is utterly different atmosphere. Surely you can hear that in those new Ton Ton recordings..
Can you imagine how shit a re-issue of Grave New World Sleeve artwork/packet construction would be

Great album Adrian big fan of Kate.
Currently testing new dac with a few all time favs. Just finished The The - Mind Bomb what an amazing album. Up next probably my all time fav album deff in top 3 Tears for Fears - Sowing the seeds of love 16 bit version off Tidal.
I have vinyl copies of Soul Mining, Infected and Mind Bomb, and while I still play the first two, I didn't really get on with Mind Bomb. Maybe it's time for a revisit. Sowing The Seeds another favourite, great production :)

Neil: Youre the man. Great LP. Have a look at the credits that should be in yellow on the inside of the gate fold, i think the art was by William Neal who did Emerson, Lake & Palmer 'Tarkus'
Unless you have the later single sleeve Reissue!

Thru the post this morning on 7".. Their first single, it was never issues on a 12" single.. None album tracks, The 'A' Side however is on the original '81-'85' compilation album that came out in the mid '80's.. I only know three covers off the top of my head with Droste Effect, thats this, Pink Floyd 'Ummagumma' & Guru Guru 'Hinten'

On CD cos no way on earth would i ever afford to buy all my albums on vinyl again, Biggest mistake of my life selling my original collection of record.. Utter stupidity.
Have to Play CD's in the spare room cos only Analogue is residing in the Living Room.. :) Maybe ill get around to transferring them all to Audio cassette one day, but even that aint a cheap job

Nice.
I'm so glad I managed to hang on to all my records, was years without being able to play them and touch and go with storage when my boy was little, but as you say, I'd never be able to replace them all. I switched to CD around 96 I think, when a lot of stuff stopped being made on vinyl. I'm lucky to have access to all of it now.
This was probably one of the last (current) records I bought, I have all her others on CD.

Great Tori album that, have her debut on vinyl, loved it back in the day when it came out.
Saw her play it live not long after it came out.
interesting way she sat on the Piano stool...
Chilling out...trying to anyway.
Great album,
shame some bugger scribbled their name in sharpie on the cover...
