So pleased to be joining your group of audio heads finally... been a a follower for a while as a guest but have only just got round to joining.
I first fell in love with music as a 12 year old, I remember it like it was yesterday ! It felt like Marc Bolan on TOTP was personally recruiting me to be a 'child of the revolution'. A child certainly, a revolutionary potentially ... if I wasn't 12, my full anarchic repertoire being refusal to go to bed until monty pythons flying circus had finished. But from that day onwards I was well and hooked on the music trip.
Anyway, a lot of years have passed but nothing much has changed. A part of me is still twelve years old, despite living a mostly unorthodox lifestyle I never quite made the grade as a revolutionary ...far too chilled and more than a little laid back ..... a bit of a handicap when conviction and commitment is needed to fight the good fight !! And then there's ALWAYS the music. Well that's been all consuming, an obsession you could say .......... a long term love affair I'd call it !!
I've just noticed its 2.45am so I'm off to bed. Next time I might tell all about my flavour, my kit (past and present) and my 24 year marriage to a pair of IAS Beaulieu's.
