Special edition, CD72SE copper chassis CD player
This machine from Marantz is based around the respected and reliable philips CDM4/19 swing arm transport. The DAC is the Philips TDA1547 as used in some quite classy machinery such as the Marantz CD1x range, Merdian, McIntosh etc.
This model has a full metal copper (plated?) chassis so is a lot more substantial than some of the plastic chassis offerings lower down the range.
In full working order and complete with original remote.
Fixed and variable analogue outputs as well as digital out.
Most importantly it sounds great. These have been fetching quite a lot of money on ebay recently with two having gone for almost £200.
Mine has a few scratches on top (the fascia plate is very good though) so I'm selling for just £100.
Collection from Bicester please as I don't have the transit screws to post safely.
