Only got this the other day but I've just got hold of a "2000 series" and I must stay on top of the addiction so for every new item that arrives an old one has to go.

Okay, its a TRIO [Kenwood] TK-60BE 15wpc solid state receiver built in what I would describe as the valve style. Dating from 1966 its in very good condition for age... Some of the writing on the front panel has faded but other than that its all good. I've given it a thorough clean & work through, all switches & potentiometers are silent, the phono stage sounds great & is also surprisingly quiet. AM works fine, as does FM but it takes 10 minutes or so of warm up before it will pull in the full range of stations... Once warmed up its fine.

3 bulbs have popped [2x tuning scale & stereo indicator] they are all 9v/300mA & readily available online. Forgot to mention - It also includes a VGC instruction manual with full schematics.

If anyone's interested I'll take £30+p&p.

The old Trio stuff is nice. It all tends to sound rather good.

Cant argue with that Geoff. Ignoring the receiver part, as an amplifier it sounds far better than I ever expected but you do need relatively sensitive speakers... Those 15 watts only go so far.

No problems with the 'KA2000' series amps lettering as it's all pressed in no printing on those babies.. You got a brown one or the silver 'A' version?
