I use one of these and thought they had stopped making the 500W version . I use one in my system and it's surprising how many pieces of equipment can be connected to it . I've had a 37inch plasma TV , an integrated valve amp , a music server/ computer , a Bluray player and a Virginmedia box all connected to this at the same time . Total output used was 67% of available output so plenty of headroom left.
Improves SQ and TV picture and outputs a steady 230V no matter what time of day it is . Mine has a little readout so you can see what's going on . I've just saw this on Mark's site and this is a major bargain IMO . I wouldn't be without mine .

I've been using mine for around 2 years now Dave and I've took it out the system a couple of times but it always goes back in very quickly .

Thanks Brian :)

The latest AG500 'PWM' model has an adjustable fan that is only 7db on the slowest speed which is just about silent.
(The early AG500 models had a fixed fan as you know.)

Yes mines is a fixed fan Mark , but is virtually inaudible . The adjustable ones must be very quiet indeed.
The AG500 has taken my system to another level :)

Very interesting Brian ... What kind of improvement to your TV pic did you get?

Brighter sharper picture Julian , with better colour and overall more detail . In short improvements in all areas including the sound .

I just sold my AG1500, it was really hard to see it go. I bought a TQ Iridium amp and I promised myself I would strip my hifi right back to the bare essentials to pay off the amp. As soon as I took the AG1500 out along with my BPS I lost a whole level of bass and my hifi sounds somewhat disjointed. So I know that mains products will be first on my shopping list :-)

Just a heads up on pricing,
As from today there is lower pricing on the AG500 PWM and AG1500.
Follow Brian's link in the first post to see a price as if I put the price here I wont be able to edit it if the price goes up again.
Not 100% sure if this is permanent new pricing or a winter offer.

A bargain on the AG500 PWM that is just about silent with the fan speed turned down.
AG1500 back down to pre dealer network prices.
