Has anyone come across a 401, 60Hz platter in good condition? Emigrating to Canada within the next year, so need to change current platter.

Unfortunately, there were a couple of e-bay sales earlier this year which I missed, which would have solved the problem.

Or, is it just best to build/purchase a power supply which enables me to use the deck in Canada transforming their 110v 60hz supply to 230v 50Hz, which would also save on pulley and neon changes.

Any advice gratefully received.

Many thanks.

ps 401 is in a Loricraft plinth circa 2006, with Rega arm and Ortofon Rondo Red MC.

Dunno but there's a 60Hz pulley here

Andre, many thanks. looked at their site. The 401 voltage can be changed quite easily at the input, but then the 50hz platter does not indicate the correct speed. please correct me if I'm mistaken.

Thats right the strobes on your 50Hz platter will be out as there should be more markings on a 60Hz platter. At least the 60Hz Pulley will get you running over there. Set the speed with a strobe disc & lamp till one surfaces..

You still need a 60 Cycle pulley for US
