Hi James, welcome from me too.
I like your speaker project. Looks very good. Crafty dodge with the permanent marker, you'll probably have to re-do it every couple of years. The ink is likely to fade.
Tell us about the rest of the system and about your music choices.

I may have to redo it at some point, however the covers are always ON due to a pesky toddler with freakish strength! I have just filled my profile for some system info (not sure if it is visible though?), mostly Naim. I was toying with idea of getting a Linn Majik DSM streamer instead of my UnitiQute2 with NAP100... Upgrade-itis, a troublesome disease you know.

Hi James,
Welcome to AoS... :)
I've just noticed that you're from sunny Wrexham! Which part are you in? I'm in Acton. Anyway, you're now part of the 'AoS Wrexham massive' - all three of us, with DarrenHW :eyebrows:
We should hook up sometime for a listening sesh. Hope you enjoy the forum!
Marco.

Hi Marco, thanks for the welcome. I live near the Pendine nursing home on the way to Summerhill. They have a bed ready and waiting for me ;)
Lol - I know where you are... Might join you there (although not necessarily in the same bed, as we haven't even met yet)!
Anyway, if you fancy getting together for a music and beer drinking sesh, pop me a PM and we'll arrange something
Marco.
P.S Where did you get your Naim amp from, Geoff at Acoustica in Chester?

I got the Naim gear from his very tall sidekick Pete, at Acoustica (Chester). Which I was happy with with, until I met cool dude Rob at Adventures In HiFi (Chester) with his Linn Majik DSM...!
I really do fancy one... but they ain't cheap!

Ah, I know Rob well - an altogether rather different character from Geoff! ;)
Hope AIHF are still doing well, as they deserve to. Rob and Steve are both 'switched on' enough to make it work. Anyway, being an ex-Naimee and valuing what's best about the brand's music-making abilities, you may find listening to my motley collection of 'old tat' and 'pimped bits & bobs' rather entertaining... :eyebrows:
Anyway, if you fancy it, you know where I am :)
Marco.

+1. I'd love to hear your S4TL's, I contemplated building a pair and I'm still toying with the idea of building one of their Subs.
