For sale is my beautiful Technics SL-1400 MK2 direct drive turntable. This turntable is in fantastic condition.

I have spent considerable time and got some fantastic help from folks on this forum reinstating the cuing mechanism. I have also rewired the tonearm internally and externally (Cardas litz, Cardas clips, and mogami and vampire external cable). Plus I have updated the captive power cord.

Included in the sale is a NOS Nagoka MP10, which I bought on this forum to use with this my second turntable. It has only seen about 2 turns of a record and is as such in virtually brand new condition. I have the box and accessories to go with it. Also included is a two part cork+rubber mat, which came from Dave at MCRU.

This is apparently the first ever turntable with digital speed display and pitch adjustment display.

I am only selling as I am not getting to use this turntable. My other turntable an SL1210. In my opinion, the SL1210 in stock form, isnt a patch on this turntable. It really is a beauty.

Price £200

I have the very similar-looking SL-150ii. Actually, it looks identical!
It's excellent.

Nathan's 1400ii looks a real bargain to me - and that arm can happily take some surprisingly good MC carts!

Thanks Andy, it really is a beautiful turntable.

I forgot to call out, there is a small chip to the paint just below the pitch adjust buttons on the front of the deck. Other than that its in great nick for its age. Arm is perfect, dustcover is great, and all other parts look as they should.

Sold this a while ago, I should have updated the thread.
