Primalsea Says Hello Again (after a long stay of absence)

Hello everybody. I'm Paul but most people knew me as Primalsea but I haven't been on AOS for quite a few years. I've still kept an interest in hifi but just lost interest in the forum for a while. Things have certainly changed, I looked on ebay today and there is nowhere near as much hifi there as there used to be. What happened to all of the Chinese stuff, did it all blow up because it was running at 240V instead of the 220V it was designed for?

Who is still on here from 6 years ago?

DSJR - I remember you, you live in Suffolk too but I think the other end from myself. I am right on the Suffolk, Essex, Cambs border.

TGW - I still have the Garrard 401 on the slate plinth and the World designs preamp. Original Pro-Ject Tube Box and an Ortofon Rohmann cartridge. Also still have the media PC but sold the DAC64 quite some time ago. Currently using a Sonifex Redbox ADDC that I modified myself. The speakers are Pioneer SDJ105 active studio monitors. These probably are not most hifi'ers choice but I have to say they are uncoloured and suit my room well.

Bloody hell, more people still here than I realised. Alex, the Martin Logans went to a hippy rocker called Sid quite some time ago. They sounded fantastic, when pulled out into the middle of my living room. Not really convenient for anyone really.

Beachwoods - Do you still have the man-room with all the RTR payers in it?
