Hi,
I'm looking for a pair of floorstanders up to about £300.
Not fussy about ported/sealed but must be within collection distance of Bristol or Barry as I want to avoid couriers.
Anybody got anything?
cheers
Rich.
I have some KEF Calindas you can have for £50. 5 minutes from junction 15 M6

I like the Calindas. They are a decent progression from the Cadenza and sound and image much better. A real bargain at that price. You'll have everybody else after them! :)

That sounds very tempting. Might be a bit far though, but thank you.
No problem. They are sat here unused so could do with a good home. Might help narrow down your search if you elaborate on what you are after, is it for your main system or A/V or something else?

Hello Rich,
Must they be floor standing? I have a nice set of Harbeth HL3 on stands, fitted with new hf units, they sound very good indeed.....£275

Hi Nigel,
I'd be/am very tempted to try the Harbeths, but my brother is only after floorstanders unfortunately.
Rich.

The Harbeths are a lot of speaker for the money and should be easy to move on. The Heybrook Pointfive stands are cheap used and raise the Harbeth to around the correct height.
I have some of the stands spare but postage would be a lot and I am London based.

I live in the Taunton area so a meet in Bristol would be more than feasible.
Looking for £150-ish for the Elas and £250-ish for the XELs.
All the best,
Charlie.

Thanks for all the offers. Looking at a pair this week so the search is temporarily on hold.
Charlie, those Regas look lovely by the way.
