anyone tried a SRM platter mat

Has anyone tried the SRm platter mat on a sl1210 also anyone got a guide for filling the std arm with cotton wool I have had no luck searching.

why would u want to fill the arm with cotton wool? we not use foam if your trying to dampen the arm its more effective:scratch:

I think the installation instruction is just to take a couple cotton wool strips and gently push them into the tonearm without breaking the tonearm cables. KAB might sell you some cotton wool strips that fits.

I use the SRM platter mat on my old Kenwood KD-770D and it's rather good on that deck. Not sure if it clears the Technics platter lip, but it's otherwise easy to recommend. Just stick it to the platter with a thin smear of Vaseline.
