Hi All
Selling my lovely FR 54 tonearm - recently acquired this with my Garrard 301 and as good as it is, I have a chance to buy a serious upgrade at a great price, so it has to go
It's in lovely condition, the original anti skate thread has been replaced with some cotton, but this does a perfectly good job and looks great, so no worries there. The previous owner also has the foresight to provide an additional (heavier) weight for the anti-skate, so it's a bit more flexible than most!
I have copied the following info from the far more knowledgeable Rabski (from the wigwam) who sold his arm last year (not this one)
Fidelity Research FR 54 tone arm. The lighter version of the FR 64 with an effective mass of 16gm. Most measurements are the same as the FR 64 (same mounting distance). Mounting hole is 20mm, but I think the counterweight stub is a bit longer to allow greater adjustment.
Comes with the FR headshell and cable (this can be replaced as the arm has a 5 pin connector)
I don't have the original box, but I have a suitable one for posting.
Looking for £300 OVNO plus insured post at cost - or collection from Lewes.
cheers
Rich
Some pics (I'll take better ones in daylight tomorrow)
Oh - Cart and deck NOT included
